Many of us that are interested in natural cures realize that there are some fundamental differences in the way that it works to treat a disease naturally and the way that it works to treat it pharmaceutically. There are times, however, when the two of these may cross over in some way or another and it may do so in some rather unusual ways. A good example of this is if we are dealing with asthma. Let’s take a look at this disease and we will discover one way in which it is often treated in an emergency that can give us some insight on how to treat it naturally.
One of the things that you need to understand is that the cures for asthma from a medical standpoint are often not cures at all. As a matter of fact, they are simply chemicals that we put into our body which are man-made, damaging and do nothing more than help us to overcome the symptoms that we are experiencing. Of course, sometimes the symptoms are life-threatening and it is important for us to make sure that we overcome that situation. There are other times, however, when we are asked to put steroids and other chemicals directly into our lungs through an inhaler whenever we are simply having a difficult time breathing properly.
Whenever an individual has an asthma attack, they are often told to drink a cup of coffee before the medical professionals arrive. It is understood that the caffeine that is within the coffee helps to open the bronchial passages and to allow the individual to breathe easier. We can walk away with this knowledge with a rather unique natural cure that may help us to breathe easier all the time.
Since it is the caffeine that it’s in the coffee which helps us to breathe easier, it would stand to reason that taking caffeine on a regular basis would help us to breathe properly. Coffee is not the way to do this regularly as they can also be damaging to our health. One of the highest forms of caffeine that you can get, however, comes from cocoa nibs. If you get these in their raw and organic form, you can take a couple of spoonfuls of them every day in order to give yourself a caffeine boost, help yourself breathe easier and improve your health through a very powerful antioxidant.
