Can Raw Food Help Your Asthma?
Do you suffer from asthma regularly or know somebody that suffers from it? I’m sure that you would want to see them get some relief from their problem but unfortunately, relief is not a very easy thing for them to come by in this particular instance. Medical science has really tainted the way that we look at this particular disease and far too many people are carrying around inhalers which puts steroids and other dangerous chemicals directly into their body. One of the things that you can do which will help to correct the problem in many instances is to change over to a raw food diet. This is not something that many of us are familiar with but in essence, it is a diet that is primarily based on uncooked fruits and vegetables with some nuts and seeds added on occasion. Many people who at one time had asthma severely are able to get a lot of relief from the problem by eating in such a way but you may find it difficult to get started. What can you do to change your diet so that you can get the most benefit that is possible?
First of all, it is not necessary for you to be 100% raw in order to receive the benefits of eating raw food. This is a fallacy and a misconception that many people who eat raw food on a regular basis tend to give to us. There are plenty of people that receive relief from their problems by going to a diet that is 70% raw or even 50% raw. It still may be a little bit of a transition, however, so here’s one way for you to be able to handle it.
If you are having a difficult time switching over to raw food, try adding things into your diet instead of taking them away. None of us want to deprive ourselves and they can make it very difficult for us to follow a healthy diet, simply because we tend to take everything away at one time. Instead of doing it this way, try adding raw food into every meal, perhaps a salad or other fruit or vegetable. If you do this regularly and continue adding it, it will eventually crowd out much of the bad food you are eating.
