Is Dairy behind Your Asthma?

You have probably seen the commercials on TV that promote the drink of milk for better health. With slogans such as “drink milk” or “milk, it does a body good” it’s difficult to imagine that such a wholesome drink can actually be bad for you. If you have fallen for this commercialism, you may be totally surprised that milk is actually one of the worst things that your body can possibly take in. After all, it was meant for baby cows, not baby humans and some of the things that are in milk are, quite honestly, not able to be assimilated by the human body.

That is one of the reasons why dairy products are behind many of the allergies that we are experiencing, even if we don’t realize that that is the case. Not only does it cause allergies, it may also be one of the major triggers for asthma attacks. If that is true, milk is not only bad for you but it may also be responsible for the deaths of many individuals who have had severe asthma attacks and were unable to overcome them. It is one of the best reasons for you to make sure that you are removing dairy from your diet and never going back to it again.

Getting rid of dairy may not be the easiest thing, especially if you’re accustomed to taking consuming on a regular basis. Many of us enjoy eating cheese and this is one of the largest offenders as far as dairy is concerned. We may even drink milk directly which is going to put us in danger of an asthma attack if we should happen to have an allergic reaction. Begin tapering off on the amount of dairy that you are drinking and you may experience some relief in your breathing problems almost immediately.

If you are having a difficult time overcoming your dairy habit, you might want to switch to a different type of milk. The type of milk in nature that most closely resembles that of a human mother’s milk is a goat milk. This is available at many stores and it is an excellent way for you to get the nutrition that you need without having to sacrifice your health as a result. It’s a shame that the food community has tricked us into believing that milk is good for us now that you know the truth, you understand what to do.
